Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority wants your feedback on visitor industry

You have until Friday to give your thoughts about tourism in the state.

The Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority is conducting its second DestinationNEXT survey.

The review helps the HTA to identify potential tourism-related issues and get feedback about its strategic and management action plans.

HTA Director of Planning Caroline Anderson says participants will be asked to rank statements – as well as give insight into their community.

"It’s a diagnostic tool, and it looks at the destination. So each of the islands, like a 360 degree survey, looking at things like how do we rank in terms of accommodations, attractions, experiences, arts and culture, dining, shopping, you know anything to do with a visitor destination — all the way to local mobility and access, communications and infrastructure, conventions and meetings/events, and health and safety," she said.

The survey can be found online here.
