The next step for the new Aloha Stadium project has been delayed.
A request for proposals for the project has been pushed back until early next year.
The state Department of Accounting and General Services was scheduled to issue the RFP on the stadium portion on Dec. 15, but that’s been delayed pending administrative review.
The RFP will be delivered to three preferred developer-led teams.
The stadium project is the second part of a two-stage procurement process. An RFP for the real estate portion of the Aloha Stadium development was issued in October.
Construction is expected to begin in 2023.
