New York writer Annie Daly is back at home after a visit to Hawai‘i last month. She visited the Big Island, a place she has been coming to for years. She writes about Hawai‘i and the concept of wellness, particularly in relation to the natural environment.
Daly traveled to five different countries Japan, Norway, Jamaica, Brazil and India, as well as Hawai‘i, to discover their concepts of wellness. When she landed back in Brooklyn, The Conversation spoke with her about what readers can learn from her new book "Destination Wellness: Global Secrets for Better Living Wherever You Are."
Daly has also worked for and written for a number of publications like Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.
