HPR App Troubleshooting
Some iPhone users have reported an issue with the HPR app, in which the home screen view is replaced by a solid black screen. We are aware of the issue and are working with our app developers to isolate and resolve the problem.
In the meantime, we suggest trying the following, which have worked for some listeners:
Force-close the app.
On earlier model iPhones: double tap the Home button. Swipe right or left to find the HPR app, then swipe up to manually close it. Then relaunch.
On iPads and iPhone X or later: from the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen. Swipe right or left to find the HPR app, then swipe up to close it. Then relaunch.
- Reinstall the app.
If a force close doesn't work, delete and then reinstall the app, searching in the App Store for "Hawaii Public Radio" and downloading it via the Developers link.
