The new 7 p.m. lineup on HPR-1, starting September 18, 2017:
Monday On the Media
Tuesday Freakonomics Radio
Wednesday Reveal
Thursday Hidden Brain (as of October 12)*
Friday Left, Right & Center
About the new programs:
REVEAL is public radio’s first one-hour radio show dedicated to investigative reporting. Created by The Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX, Reveal combines the power and artistry of “driveway moment” storytelling with data-rich reporting on critically important issues. The result is stories that inform and inspire, arming our listeners with information to right injustices, hold the powerful accountable and improve lives.
HIDDEN BRAIN uses science and storytelling to help curious people understand the world, current events and themselves. Host Shankar Vedantam is a beloved contributor to Morning Edition and All Things Considered. This new hour-long program allows him to go deeper into stories that connect social science research to our listeners’ lives and the world around us. (starts October 12, 2017)
* For the three Thursdays between September 21 and October 5, we will re-broadcast Offshore, Season 2: The Sacred Mountain.
The Conversation will no longer repeat in the evenings as of September 18, but will continue to broadcast at its original hour at 11 a.m. every weekday.
