Plus, the Kanikapila Sunday Classic! Tune in every Sunday with host Derrick Malama from 1:00-4:00 PM Hawai’i Time on HPR-1.

Musician, composer and producer Peter Moon was a pioneer in the Hawaiian Music Renaissance of the 1970s. He played with the Sunday Manoa, led the Peter Moon Band, and recorded a number of solo albums. He passed away last month. We'll remember  Moon by playing some of his music throughout today's show. 

In Hour One you'll hear songs from Amy Hanaiali'i, Keauhou, Robi Kahakalau, the Brothers Cazimero, Keola Beamer & Raiatea, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, and Napua.

Hour Two features Natalie Ai Kamauu, Kupaoa, Waipuna, Dennis Kamakahi, Keali'i Reichel, Makana, and the Makaha Sons.
