Helping Hand - November 24, 2017 complete interview with Honolulu Habitat for Humanity

This week Helping Hand has Honolulu Habitat for Humanity ahead of their Sustainable Saturday recycling and sale event. The nonprofit also helps build affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter, have programs to fix existing structures and assist people with disabilities in accomplishing ADA home modifications. HPR ATC Host Dave Lawrence speaks with April Bullis, Manager of the Honolulu Habitat ReStore.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR1 stations statewide putting the spotlight each Friday on an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to people with disabilities and others among the most vulnerable. After airing during HPR's PM Drive broadcast of All Things Considered, the segments are archived here.
