Helping Hand - February 5, 2016 complete interview with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawai'i

This week on Helping Hand we’re welcoming back the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawai‘i. Honolulu’s two Ronald McDonald Houses are in continual operation for families that must come to the Honolulu area seeking specialized medical treatments for their children’s catastrophic illnesses. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawai`i Public Relations Manager Gene Davis speaks with HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR1 stations every Friday afternoon as part of HPR’s statewide afternoon drive broadcast of NPR’s All Things Considered, and then archived here. Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to the disabled and other folks who’re among the most vulnerable in the community.
