BLNR Approves City's Proposed Sand Island Homeless Site

Hawai‘i’s Board of Land and Natural Resources gave the green light for the city’s plan to temporarily create a homeless site on Sand Island. The board voted 5 - 1 to approve a three-year lease of the land, free of charge. HPR’s Molly Solomon has more.
