David Komine is a crew member on the Hikianalia. He'll be onboard during the first leg of the trip to Tahiti.

In less than a month, the H?k?le‘a and its sister canoe, the Hikianalia, will embark on “Malama Honua,” a voyage around the world. The 47,000 mile trip across the globe includes visits to more than 25 countries and 12 marine World Heritage sites along the way. HPR’s Molly Solomon set sail aboard the Hikianalia and has this preview of the upcoming voyage.
