What Lies Ahead for Kaho‘olawe?

It’s been 10 years since the Navy transferred control of Kaho‘olawe to the state. The island’s caretakers are still cleaning up the island and are moving toward a plan of sustainability. But, as HPR’s Molly Solomon reports, the agency in charge of restoring Kaho‘olawe is facing funding cuts, that could impact the future of the island.
