On HPR’s All Things Considered, Honolulu Host Dave Lawrence has been catching up with a range of musicians during the pandemic, hearing how it’s touched them, personally and professionally, in a new series we're calling Off the Road. Jack Johnson, Soul Asylum’s Dave Pirner, Carlos Santana and his wife Cindy Blackman Santana, Al Di Meola and others have taken time to appear remotely during this era when touring musicians are off the road. And while regular listeners may know artists who play the Blue Note Hawaii often appear on the show, many may not know their manager Marco Olivari is a musician himself, and just released a new six-track album, Quarantine Dreams through his production brand Serene Fatigue. He joined Dave for a conversation about it.
