The Aloha State is getting a rare visit from two associated classic rock legends. Rick Derringer and Edgar Winter play with their own bands before joining forces tonight at Hawaiian Brian's, Thursday at the MACC, Friday at the Kauai Beach Resort and Saturday at the Honoka'a People's Theatre. Yesterday HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence had Rick on as a guest, and today welcomes Edgar Winter. From developing his craft and love of music through family alongside his iconic departed brother Johnny Winter, to working with Beatles drummer Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band, to explaining his monster hit Frankenstein, there are a lot of incredible stories, in what was an over hour-long conversation, posted here.
