The Rick Derringer Band and the Edgar Winter Group will both play before the two rock legends perform together at a series of dates in the islands. HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence spoke with Rick ahead of the tour, and learned a lot about where and how the gifted "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Coo" songwriter developed his craft. The tour starts Wednesday at Hawaiian Brian's, before playing the MACC Thursday, Kaua'i Beach Resort Friday and Honoka'a People's Theatre Saturday.
