Average White Band Returns to the Aloha State After Nearly Four Decades

After nearly four decades, the Average White Band has returned to the Aloha State. The funk group that originally hailed from Scotland broke into the funk/R&B scene in the early 1970's, making a name for themselves with tight grooves and memorable dance floor anthems. Performing in Waikiki at the Blue Note through Sunday, original members Alan Gorrie and Onnie McIntyre spoke with HPR ATC Host Dave Lawrence about their roots and some career highlights.
