This week the SPIN Network returns to Helping Hand! The Special Parent Information Network is a parent-to-parent organization that provides resources, support and referrals to parents of children and young adults with disabilities and the professionals who serve them. We welcome back the Coordinator at the SPIN Network, Susan Rocco and a new guest, Program Specialist Amanda Ka'ahanui.
Helping Hand airs each Friday afternoon on HPR1 as part of the statewide afternoon drive broadcast of NPR’s All Things Considered, and then appears online here. Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to the disabled, the most vulnerable in the community with local HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence.
