Each Friday afternoon, Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization or event that offers assistance to the disabled and other folks who are among the most vulnerable in the community with HPR All Things Considered Local Host Dave Lawrence. This week we’re learning about Hale Kipa with our guest Alika Campbell, Program Coordinator.
According to their website, Hale Kipa offers services for at-risk and high-risk youth through shelter, support and advocacy. Services include Prevention and Intervention, Foster Care, Shelter Services, Residential Homes and Outreach, professional counseling and more to help those in need on Maui, O'ahu, Kaua'i, and in Hawai'i County.
