Wahuawa Lions' Benefit Breakfast
Wahuawa Lions' Benefit Breakfast
The Wahiawa Lions will host their twenty-seventh annual fundraiser breakfast on Sunday, March 15, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Leilehua High School's Cafeteria, 1515 California Avenue in Wahiawa. The ono meal includes fluffy, scrambled eggs, tasty smoky sausages, steamed rice, delicious breakfast muffin, fresh Dole pineapple chunks, and beverage for a donation of just $10.00 per person. In addition, entertainment will be provided by the Kanani Oliveira Hula Studio.
President Carolyn Hayashi says, “This is the Wahiawa Lions Club’s only fundraiser for the year, and we need the community's support." Hayashi adds, “Our ability to stage the Veterans Day Parade, provide scholarships for graduating Leilehua High School seniors, and help the community in other ways depends entirely on the success of this breakfast.” Event Co-Chair Jack Kampfer says, “We have put together a great meal at a reasonable price for a worthy purpose. Now we just need people to come and enjoy it.” Tickets are available from Lions’ members and will be sold at the door.
