The Rocky Horror Show - Live! Special late night Hallowe'en performance!

It’s officially spooky season again, which means it’s officially ROCKY HORROR SHOW season again! This October, the Hilo Community Players present the ultimate Halloween cult classic musical comedy live at the Hawai'i Science and Technology Museum. Curtain goes up at 8pm on Friday, October 20th, 21st, 22nd, and again the next weekend on the 27th, 28th, and 29th. There will also be a special Halloween late night performance at 10pm on the 31st, which will include a costume contest! Audience members are encouraged to dress up and participate in the raucous, raunchy, rockin’ extravaganza. Tickets and participation kits are available at HiloPlayers.org. Make your reservations now, as tickets are going fast!

THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW is directed by Rachel Klein and Dane Dupre, with vocal direction by Pedro Ka‘awaloa and musical direction by Pedro Ka‘awaloa and Kanako Okita, and choreography by Nadia Schlosser. You won't want to miss songs like "Time Warp," "Touch-a-Touch Me" and "Sweet Transvestite" played by our live ROCKY HORROR band. The vibrant cast of talented Hilo performers include Nathan Bonsall, who is starring as Dr. Frank N. Furter. Chris Kocian and Davya Escobar play naive, unsuspecting Brad and Janet, respectively, and André Reneau is the titillating titular Rocky. Miriam Hoenig is ROCKY’s Narrator, Sean Douglas does double duty as Eddie and Dr. Scott, and Riff Raff is brought to leering life by Ricky Alvarez. Salome Douglas is Magenta, E Burbank is Columbia, RaVani Flood plays The Usherette, and the killer Transylvanian troop features Alex Williamson, Alisha Kimie, Aoi Shinagawa, Joshua Baldonado, Levi Anderson, Luke “Valentine” Bonner, Percival Best, and Savannah Christensen. Let’s all do the Time Warp again!
