The Jazz Maui 2024 Maui Music Series presents vocalist Victor Fields in concert. Victor Fields has been described as belonging to the rare species of silky soul jazz singers. A Billboard-charted artist in both contemporary jazz and R&B, Victor has a rich gauzy tenor and the ability to move seamlessly between blues, jazz, R&B, and pop. The legendary singer Lou Rawls called him, “the man with the golden voice”. The Los Angeles Times said he is "a stylistically accomplished singer", and Chicago Jazz Magazine recognized him as "one of the most dynamic and versatile jazz singers today!".Performing along with Victor Fields are some of the island’s most accomplished musicians: keyboardist Jeff Hellmer; saxophonist John Zangrando; guitarist Prem Brosio; bassist Ian Sheridan; drummer Paul Marchetti; and, percussionist Larry Fitzgerald.The Jazz Maui 2024 Maui Music Series is supported by the Hawaii Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program.
