Talk Story is a signature event series at The LineUp at Wai Kai that brings people together each month to meet Oahu’s waterman icons and leaders of our ocean-minded culture.

The LineUp has invited Luke Shepardson, winner of the 2023 Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational and a North Shore lifeguard, to kick off our inaugural Talk Story series. The evening hosted by Rocky Canon will take guests on a journey of Luke’s day out at Waimea Bay that led to his amazing victory. Prior to the Talk Story, get Luke’s autograph on a custom poster or book a surf session with him! The event will also feature a silent auction, live music by Mel Puu and DJ Mason Rose, and more.
