Conceived against the backdrop of the tumultuous and historic, social and cultural events of 2020, Honolulu-based artist Taiji Terasaki’s exhibit RESET/RESHAPE delves into the complex societal and personal impacts of global events through social and racial inequality, climate change, the pandemic, and food insecurity. The artist’s multi-disciplinary approach includes works on paper, video, and sculpture layered with an interactive augmented reality (AR) experience, offering a chance for reflection and encouraging innovation as a force for positive change.
