Dane Lam conducts Florence Price's Piano Concerto, Margaret Bond's gripping evocation of the Civil Right movement in her Montgomery Variations, and Shostakovich's defiant Symphony No. 5, embodying the power of the art to free us from our shackles and lead us to freedom.
