The Punahou Music Department presents its Concerto Showcase 2024 on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. in Dillingham Hall. The concert will feature three extraordinary soloists from the Class of 2024 – Cassidy Sakamoto (viola), Ian Ahn (cello), and Conrad Cao (piano) with Punahou Symphony Strings and guest musicians. The program will open with Leo Delibes’ Prelude and Mazurka from Coppelia. It will be followed with Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto (arranged for viola), Camille Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto, and concluding with George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
