Join us for an afternoon of poetry and conversation with former San Francisco Arts Commissioner and SFJAZZ Poet Laureate Genny Lim. The author of five poetry books, Genny’s writings are informed by her passion for social justice, her collaborations with jazz legends such as Herbie Lewis, and her experience growing up as a second generation Chinese American in San Francisco. Among other readings she will be sharing material inspired by her time in Bali, Indonesia.
