One-Woman Show "Long Way Home"

One-Woman Show "Long Way Home"

LONG WAY HOME, created and performed by Erin Healani Chung, goes up on Sat Jan 25 at the Hilo Palace Theater. This one-woman show is for anyone who has ever left home, chased a dream or questioned their Native Hawaiian identity. It’s a love letter to this incredible ‘āina and a tribute to the importance of following your dreams. Musical accompaniment will be provided by The Hilo Honeys (Jennie Goya Kaneshiro, Jenn Eng, Robin Ziroli and Jenni Kim Silva) and there is a special performance by guest artist Arieka Conant-Longakit.

A Hawai'i Island native, Erin is an actor and multi-disciplinary storyteller. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii - Mānoa and the Atlantic Acting School in New York City. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA - television credits include The Sinner (2018), Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2019) and Katy Keene (2020). LONG WAY HOME was created as part of a year long fellowship with support from Vibrant Hawai’i and the One Nation/One Project campaign "Arts for EveryBody," one of the largest public art campaigns in American History.
