DETAILS: The Mid-Pacific School of the Arts (MPSA) Theatre Arts Department presents its spring production, The Odd Couple, The Female Version, by Neil Simon. Directed by Linda Johnson with set design by Andrew Doan, light design by Charles Wade and costume design by Jessica Haworth Stack, the two-hour comedy follows two girlfriends with conflicting personalities that move in together after one is dumped by her husband. During a double date, their differences come to a head. The play is rated PG-13. Reservations are required all Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances. Check-in begins 20 minutes prior to the start of each performance. No one will be allowed to enter once the performance has started. All audience members are required to wear a mask during the entire performance. Hawaiʻi’s first-ever Mid-Pacific School of the Arts offers students the opportunity to study under the direction of expert Mid-Pacific instructors from stage and screen who are noted professionals in their fields. The school offers pre-conservatory level programs and intensive arts training in Dance, Hula, Instrumental Music, Media, Musical Theatre, Theatre, Visual Arts and Voice.
