Mid-Pacific Institute Presents The Crucible

Mid-Pacific Institute Presents The Crucible

Friday–Sunday, April 19–21 & 26–28

Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m

Mid-Pacific School of the Arts presents the captivating world of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," reimagined with a twist set in an all-girls school of the 1950s. Witness the gripping tale of suspicion and hysteria unfold as the halls of this prestigious institution become the stage for a compelling exploration of power, fear, and accusation.

In this adaptation, the familiar characters of Salem grapple with the pressures of a conservative 1950s society, where conformity reigns supreme and dissent is met with harsh consequences. Follow the struggles of young women navigating friendship, authority, and the pursuit of truth in a world where secrets lurk behind every corner.

Experience Miller's masterful storytelling as timeless themes of betrayal and justice unfold against the backdrop of a strict all-girls school environment. With powerful performances and immersive atmosphere, this production promises to be an unforgettable journey into the heart of human nature and the dangers of unchecked power. Join us as we uncover the secrets beneath the surface and discover the true cost of seeking justice in a world consumed by fear.

Hawaiʻi’s first-ever Mid-Pacific School of the Arts offers students the opportunity to study under the direction of expert Mid-Pacific instructors from stage and screen who are noted professionals in their fields.
