The courses explore careers in design and students can register for individual or multiple sessions, based on their interests. The program is open to any high school-age students and college freshmen. Byline Blueprint - Designing Articles for Publication: This course gives students the chance to work with writer, news editor, and educator Jennifer Stevens. Students will leave with the skills to conceptualize compelling and newsworthy ideas, conduct effective interviews, and master the art of structuring and organizing their writing. Ideas to Innovations - Exploring Product Design: Students will work with Dean Bacalzo, a seasoned designer, innovative inventor, and inspiring facilitator. If you love bringing your ideas to life, then product design may be for you. This is your opportunity to turn your ideas into innovations and add to your college and career portfolio.
Designing Stories for a Digital Age: This course provides the opportunity to work with digital media expert, content marketer, and communications strategist Justin White. Unleash your creative potential and dive deep into the digital realm exploring the dynamic intersection of design and social media to prepare for a future as an influencer, social media strategist, or graphic designer.
