Mālama ‘Āina Community Cleanup

Our Kaka‘ako, Kaiāulu ‘o Kaka‘ako Owners Association, Waterfront Plaza, Surfrider Foundation, and Bottles4College invite you to join the Mālama ‘Āina Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 15! It’s our kūleana (responsibility) to do our part to mālama ʻāina (care for the land) in honor of Earth Month while we enjoy a morning of fresh air, sunshine, and doing good in our neighborhood!

Check in at The Barn at SALT at Our Kaka‘ako at 327 Keawe Street at 9:00 a.m. and get your map, biodegradable trash bag, and reusable gloves. Registered participants will also get a complimentary snack bag and free refillable aluminum water bottle provided by Waiākea Hawaiian Volcanic Water. After collecting trash and placing it at the designated trash drop-off location.

For your comfort, bring your own reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, and shades or protective eyewear. Pre-register at www.ourkakaako.com/cleanup. Walk-ins are welcome.
