Langley Ukulele Ensemble to perform at Sheraton Waikiki for 26th annual tour to Hawaii
The Langley Ukulele ensemble is making its return to Hawaii after three years of forced stop due to the pandemic. They have been here in Hawaii 26 times. They are here from British Columbia, Canada. Led by Musical Director Paul Luongo they are excited to perform in the land of Aloha. Long awaited since 2019 they are all excited to be here. This is something that the kids and the association have all been looking forward to. The LUA is comprised of young musicians between the age of 13 and 20. LUA repertoire includes music from the 50s through the 80s as well as a lot of international repertoires and of course Hawaiian music.
