Jazz Maui presents the Sunset Jazz New Year’s Eve Experience, a fundraiser for Jazz Maui’s music education programs, featuring the premiere performance of the Jazz Maui Little Big Band, the only big band performing on Maui on New Year’s Eve. A 13-member band including six horns and a full rhythm section, this group of visiting and local professional musicians plays a variety of different composers and jazz styles - from Duke Ellington to Tower of Power and everything in between.

Held in the upstairs open-air pavilion, The Sunset Jazz New Year’s Eve Experience promises to be a one-of-a-kind evening. The festivities include party favors, 360 photo booth experience, complimentary champagne toast, live broadcast of the Times Square Ball Drop on big screens, an online silent auction, and cocktail and drink specials. Food by Smash Maui, gourmet cheese plates and more are available for purchase. The online silent auction features a wide variety of items and bidders do not have to be present on New Year’s Eve, they can bid from anywhere. Funds raised from the online auction support Jazz Maui’s Music and Arts Education programs.

Jazz concert attendees must be 21. Seating is limited to 50. Advance ticket purchase is required at www.JazzMaui.org or https://mauichocolate.com/pages/sunset-jazz. Proceeds benefit Jazz Maui’s Music and Arts Education programs.
