Jazz Maui presents Sunset Jazz featuring Phil and Angela Benoit from 5-7pm on Sunday, April 30 at the Maui Ku'ia Estate Chocolate Factory in Lahaina. Sunset Jazz features great live jazz and panoramic sunset views along with chocolate/beverage pairings.
Phil Benoit, a self-taught guitarist, has been performing professionally for more than two decades. Angela Benoit was born and raised in Paia, Maui and has been singing all her life. Together they head up the Maui-based jazz group "Benoit Jazzworks" and play their original music, jazz standards, bossa nova, pop, and Hawaiian swing. Angela's vocals are smooth and rest somewhere between high alto and low mezzo-soprano while Phil provides a swinging guitar.
Held in the upstairs open-air pavilion, concert goers can enjoy great jazz and sunset views along with chocolate/beverage pairings for purchase.
Sunset Jazz concert attendees must be 21 or older and have a valid photo ID. Seating is limited and often sold out so advance ticket purchase is required.
