For the Love of Limu

For the Love of Limu
We invite you to join the University of Hawai‘i Sea Grant College Program (Hawai‘i Sea Grant) and Kua‘āina Ulu ‘Auamo (KUA) for an evening of light pupus, live music, limu panel, the opportunity to share your own delicious limu dishes, and BYOB in celebration of The Limu Eater book release!
Featuring music and pupus crafted by world-renowned chef Eddie Mafnas in a beautiful oceanfront setting at the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Ho‘okupu Center at Kewalo Basin Park.
The Limu Eater was reprinted to celebrate the Year of the Limu and honor the long history and cultural significance of limu throughout the years. We hope this reprint of The Limu Eater can be part of the living, evolving, and growing practice of limu hana in Hawai‘i.
Tickets are $10, and limited space, so reserve your spot today!
Native Books Hawaiʻi is partnering with Hawaiʻi Sea Grant and KUA on a special pre-sale of The Limu Eater for $15, or a package deal with Hawai‘i Sea Grant’s Hawaiian Reef Plants book and other small giveaways for $52!
Visit the Native Books website to reserve your copy whether or not you can join the festivities on October 13!
