FREE CONCERT | 2 April, Hawaii Theatre, 7:30 PM

On Sunday, 2 April at 7:30 PM, students from Council Rock South High School in Southeast Pennsylvania will present a free concert as part of their 2023 tour of Hawai’i. The Council Rock South High School Orchestra is noted for its musical excellence and has appeared across the globe. This is the group’s first visit to the islands of Hawai’i. The CRSO will present a diverse and exciting program, drawing titles from various styles and genres, highlighted by movements 2 and 4 from Dvořák’s triumphant New World Symphony.

This event will also feature an appearance by celebrated Hawaiian artist Taimane (www.taimane.com), who will present a special set of several original compositions.

These talented student musicians are eager to share their music and welcome new Hawaiian friends to this special concert in Honolulu’s most beautiful theater. In that spirit, please bring a friend to this event!
