Community Energy Talk Story – Ko‘olau (KEY Project + Hawai‘i State Energy Office)
Join KEY Project and the Hawai‘i State Energy Office (HSEO) – alongside partners across Hawai‘i’s energy community, including the Hawai‘i Green Infrastructure Authority (HGIA) – for a community meeting about the future of energy in the Ko‘olau region as Hawai‘i works toward its goal of 100% renewable energy by 2045.
This interactive event provides an opportunity to learn how energy works in Hawai‘i and share your mana‘o to help shape future solutions. The evening will include:
- Interactive energy education stations
- A short presentation on Hawai‘i’s energy challenges, costs, and pathways to 100% renewable energy
- Small group discussions to share manaʻo on future energy solutions for Ko‘olau communities
- Opportunities to connect with organizations supporting energy programs and resources across Hawai‘i
All are welcome, and no prior knowledge is needed.
