The Annual Zen Art Show & Sale at Daihonzan Chozen-ji showcases a variety of Zen art made by priests and students at this Rinzai Zen temple in the back of Kalihi Valley. SATURDAY, 11/13: 9AM-2PM SUNDAY, 11/14: 9AM-2PM One of the rare times that the temple is open to the public, the Zen Art Sale includes calligraphy, omamori, books, and ceramics for sale. Ceramics include wares fired in the only anagama wood-fired kiln on Oahu. Temple tours and demonstrations of Japanese Tea Ceremony will also be available. Proof of vaccination is required and making a reservation is strongly recommended. Masks are required indoors. Self-serve parking.
