China Trade Slows

Hawaii’s exports to China totaled about $77,000,000 last year. That’s not a lot in terms of global trade, but according to the U.S. China Business Council, it does make the country Hawaii’s third leading export market…following Australia and Japan. As for the broader view of China’s trade picture, it’s been a week of surprises. HPR’s Bill Dorman has more in today’s Asia Minute.
