Outside of large curated shows and juried exhibitions, artists across the state continue to press ahead, alone in the studio or in casual groups. HPR’sNoeTanigawa reports on four artists who have been sharing ideas recently.
Drew Broderick opens at In4mation Chinatown tonight, first Friday, and continues through October first during store hours. Chris Michael and Kenny Waifu Lui open at SPF Projects in Kaka’ako September 11th, but Kenny is there now at nights. Their show at SPF runs through October 12th. John Koga’s installation at the Honolulu Museum School is open from 9-9 everyday through September 30th----the Nano Gallery is located under the stairway to the mezzanine.
