French Update View of 'Democracy in America'

Philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy, a superstar in his native France, is on a six-month tour of the United States reminiscent of Alexis de Tocqueville's famous 1831 visit. He's getting an up-close view of democracy in action at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. Slate senior editor Andy Bowers reports.
