Iraq University Firing Sparks Scandal

Baghdad University students and academics express outrage at the dismissal of the school's board-elected president. Iraq's new minister of higher education, appointed by the nation's governing council, says Sami al-Muhdafal was an ineffective administrator. But critics say the firing came after Muhdafal criticized the council. NPR's Guy Raz reports.
