Boy's Death Prompts Otis Elevator Safety Campaign

Otis Elevator will launch a safety campaign and pay $3 million to the family of a boy crushed to death in a 70-year-old swing-door elevator. Company documents indicate that Otis was aware of the safety problems as early as the 1930s. Dozens of children may have died as a result. Maine Public Radio's Susan Chisholm reports.
