The opening of a much needed and anticipated high school in South Maui is expected to happen this year. HPR's Casey Harlow has more.

The union representing Hawaiʻi's public school teachers has filed a complaint against the state Department of Education with the state Labor Relations Board. The HSTA is demanding the DOE address ongoing safety concerns in classrooms.
