Hawaiʻi Public Radio and the Culinary Institute of the Pacific Present: An Evening with The Splendid Table's Francis Lam on Jan. 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Hawaii Theatre.

Join Francis Lam, vice president and editor-in-chief for Clarkson Potter and host of the culinary public radio program, "The Splendid Table," as he sits down with local tastemakers for conversations about Hawai‘i's food cultures from near and far, and what’s ahead in food for 2023. Audio from the event will be recorded for a future local broadcast on Hawai‘i Public Radio and national broadcast on “The Splendid Table.”

$35 - $50 - General Admission

$75 VIP (limited quantity) includes:

  • Preferred seating
  • Pre-show meet-and-greet with Francis Lam and guest speakers (begins 5:30 p.m.)

A book signing with Francis Lam and other guests will take place after the program. Copies of Sheldon Simeon's cookbook, Cook Real Hawai‘i, and other cookbooks edited by Francis Lam, will be available for purchase in the mezzanine.

"The Splendid Table” airs Saturdays at 9 a.m. on HPR-1, is distributed to more than 400 public radio stations across the country, and is available as a podcast.
