LDS Church Lawsuit: Plaintiff Jake Huggard
Jake Huggard is one of the plaintiffs in a lawsuit filed against the LDS Church, Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Youth Development Enterprises, and Brian R. Pickett, the man who allegedly sexually molested Mr. Huggard when he was a boy. In the 1970s and 80s boys were recruited from communities in Utah and Idaho to pick pineapples at camps on Maui.

Student Distracted Driving Campaign: Ke'olina "Lina" Naulangi
Ke'olina "Lina" Naulangi is a senior at Moanalua High School and president of the Peer Education Program. She’s part of a coalition of 170 students representing eight Hawaii high schools who are conducting a series of workshops and educational sessions this week to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving and drowsy driving.

Corey Rosenlee is a 15-year nationally certified social studies teacher from Campbell High School. He is one of the organizers of the "Hawaii Teachers Work to the Rules" Movement. For 7 years, he has been leading the quest to cool schools so kids can focus on learning. The latest effort is SB 2559 scheduled to be heard later today.

Judy Ridolfino is the head of “Judy’s Gang” a dance, exercise, and calligraphy school in Wailuku, Maui. The Gang’s next recital is called “A Trip Into Your Imagination;” It’s this Saturday at Wailuku Industrial Park.
