There are several planets to look for each evening this week, plus we hear about the discovery of water in an unexpected place in the solar system as HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence speaks with Christopher Phillips from the Mauna Kea Astronomy Outreach Committee for this week’s Stargazer.

These two images are the first and last images captured by the Messenger spacecraft mission to Mercury. They were shot March 29, 2011 and April 30, 2015, showing the surface of the innermost planet in our solar system.
