Those who manage to escape tell of events almost beyond imagining, but Tommy Driskill, a recent Political Science Graduate from the University of Hawaii, recorded some of their stories with his documentary “Life As A North Korean Defector” last year, and he’s doing another one based on North Korean artist Song Byeok. The secrecy that shrouds the negotiations and the emphasis on corporate strategy are two of the often cited reasons. One Hawaii organization which opposes the TPP is Local 5, and Eric Gill is the Financial Secretary-Treasurer.
