Xandria Henry

Xandria Henry was born in east Texas and raised in North Carolina. She recently moved to Oʻahu with her family. A dedicated volunteer and proud military spouse, she has lived all over the world helping military families.

She has spent more than 15 years helping nonprofit organizations with development campaigns, accounting needs, and scholarships. She is currently a faithful Hawai‘i Meals on Wheels volunteer, delivering weekly meals to kūpuna in her neighborhood.

As a teenager, she was introduced to public radio by her father. She remembers hearing wonderful stories of community, political involvement and activism. All of this fostered her love for making a difference in her community.

In her spare time, she loves lounging on the beach with her husband and children, teaching herself to crochet, or starting one of the many books in her “TBR” pile.
