Mike Machado

Born and raised in Honolulu, Mike Machado has worked behind a microphone off and on since 1992 as a play-by-play announcer, public address announcer, newscaster, disc jockey, and voice-talent. He was hired by Hawai‘i Public Radio in July 2021 as a board operator and occasionally substitutes as the local host for Morning Edition.
