Jones' Reputation Tarnishes with Stunning Speed

The career of a once-revered Olympic athlete is in tatters.

Track and field superstar Marion Jones pleaded guilty Friday to lying to federal agents about her use of banned performance-enhancing drugs.

Following her appearance in a federal court, she made the tearful announcement that she is retiring from her sport.
